Foundations

Foundations is a universal Tabletop Role Playing Game system that seeks to bridge the space between traditional gameplay experiences championed by the Old School Renaissance movement and modern ones like Fate Core, Apocalypse World, or those powered by the Year Zero Engine. The goal of Foundations is to provide a structure that is simple, yet serviceable for groups looking to build stories in as little time as possible, but with enough depth to drive full campaigns. I have relied on the experiences of my own groups when putting together some of the ideas presented here, as well as taken a great deal of inspiration from the systems we already play and love, and tried to encapsulate them all within a coherent, easy to parse package.
